What is a roller?
- A roller is an object shaped like a cylinder. It rotates along its rounded edge in order to move larger objects and reduce the resistance caused by friction. Unlike a wheel it does not have an axle.
Significance of the roller?
- Before the invention of the wheel rollers were used to move heavy objects from one location to another. often times multiple rollers were set up across the ground and a heavy object was pushed

- toilet paper rolls, paint roller, pencil crayons, etc.
